Connect with a local library and get your after school program excited about learning and reading with a library scavenger hunt.
Materials Needed:
- Pencil
- Treasure Hunt List
To start your library scavenger hunt, create a list of treasures for your students to find throughout the library. Give your students a pencil to keep track of the found items, and send them out to explore!
Along the way your children will find fun, informative books and treasures you have placed throughout the library. The treasure hunt list will prompt them to read book passages, explore themes, and do research related to reading.
